Thank you for being interested in my ceramics! Before submitting your commission request, please read the following guidelines carefully:
Submitting a Request
Once I approve your commission request, I will send you an invoice to your email provided.
I will only begin your commission after an initial deposit is received. The deposit will be half of the full payment amount. The following half will be due upon completion (prior to pick up/delivery).
Design + Production Process
Phase 1: Design
- Once the deposit has been received, I will send you documentation of up to three mock-ups for the specific project to your email or other specified communication platform.
Phase 2: Production Process
- The client will have 1 week to make any changes (unless otherwise agreed upon).

Phase 3: Final Production
- Once the mock-up is to the clients liking, I will finish the commission and we will coordinate pick-up or delivery terms of the finished work.
Terms + Conditions
Whereas, the Artist is an established artist of proven talents; and
Whereas, the Client wishes to purchase artwork from the Artist;
Now, therefore, in consideration of the foregoing premises and mutual covenants hereinafter set forth and other valuable consideration, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. Acceptance: It is not necessary for the Client to have signed any document for these terms and conditions to apply. If the Client commissions an artwork the Client will be deemed to have satisfied themselves as to the terms applying and have accepted these terms and conditions in full. The Client shall negotiate the terms of any assignment that is offered, but the Artist shall have the right to reject any assignment if he or she finds the terms thereof unacceptable.
2. Credit Lines: The Client shall give Artist and any other creators a credit line agreed upon by the Artist with any usage.
3. Ownership: The Artist retains all rights of original artwork, whether preliminary or final, and the client, shall return such artwork, and all copies thereof, and shall permanently delete all digital copies thereof, within 30 days of the expiration of Client’s usage rights. Once the artwork has entered the marketplace, the Artist retains the right to display all work created by Artist for this assignment, including print and digital versions of preliminary designs and final creative work, in Artist’s portfolio, provided that the Client is appropriately identified therewith.
4. Changes: Client shall make additional payments for changes requested beyond original assignment.
5. Cancellation + Rejection: In the event of cancellation of this assignment, ownership of all copyrights and the original artwork shall be retained by the Artist; Client shall return originals and all copies thereof to the Artist, and permanently delete all digital copies thereof; and a cancellation and/or rejection fee for work completed, based on the agreed upon price and expenses already incurred, shall be paid by the Client. Should the Client cancel or reject the commission agreement after the artwork has been completed, the Artist reserves the right to charge up to 100% of the total projected costs. The scale of the charge will be dependent on the discretion of the Artist and the stage of the project at the time of cancellation and/or rejection.
6. Expenses: Client shall reimburse Artist for all expenses arising from this assignment, including the payment of any sales taxes due on this assignment. Client’s approval shall be obtained for any increases in fees or expenses that exceed the original estimate by 10% or more.
7. Responsibility for Artwork: Client agrees to assume responsibility for loss, theft, or any damage to the artwork while they are being held by the Client or a third party.
8. Payment: All invoices shall be paid within 30 days of receipt. The Artist reserves the right to apply a late fee on unpaid balances after expiration of period of payment. The Client shall assume responsibility for all collection of legal fees necessitated by default in payment.
9. Warranty of Originality: The Artist warrants and represents that, the services shall be performed and completed in a professional matter, and to the best of his/her knowledge, the work assigned hereunder is original and has not been previously published, or that consent to use has been obtained consistent with the rights granted to the Client herein. The Client agrees that it will hold the Artist harmless for all liability caused by the Client’s use of the Artist’s product.
10. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma.
